Inbound - Norse Orcs! 4 new teams from Agema Minis
9 months ago – Tue, Jun 24, 2025 at 08:36:23 AM

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that I am working on a new project coming to Kickstarter soon; Norse Orcs! The Norse Orcs are Greenskins with a Viking flavour, covering 4 teams.

You will be able to play the Norse Orcs as Viking themed Black Orcs, as Viking themed regular Orcs and Goblins, and also a Greenskin themed Norscan team complete with Berserkers, Ulfs, Valkyries and my personal favourite - Beer Squigs! (who doesn't love Squigs?!!)

There will also be Orc themed Norse Star Players, and lots of Star Player Add-Ons. Here are some of the concept sketches for the team. We've worked once more with Steve Beckett of Beano Comic fame to give these guys a 'More Guts, More Glory' feel to them.

The pre-launch page is now live, so please do register your interest:  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/agemaminis/norse-orcs-northern-greenskins-for-fantasy-football

I'm happy to answer any initial questions any of you may have, so feel free to drop me a message if you'd like me to clarify anything or expand on the project details.

Thanks for looking guys, and I hope some of you will join us on our next exciting project!

Cheers

Next Star Player - Glimmershard! And request for testimonials
11 months ago – Wed, Apr 23, 2025 at 06:24:18 AM

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share our next Star Player in the planned Star Player bundle with you - our version of Swiftvine Glimmershard! We've looked to give her a slightly eerie, malevolent look as her character isn't exactly nice and fluffy in Blood Bowl law, given her habit of knifing people! She comes complete with a nicely stabbed Goblin, and a sly grin. I need to print a test of her this week to see if anything needs tweaking with the sculpt or posing, but wanted to let you see her asap. Let me know if you have any feedback!

Secondly, can I also ask for some of you to pen me some testimonials please? I'm trying to promote the quality of the 3d printing and resin that I use for the minis, as these are aspects that are very tricky to convey via my website if you haven't seen or felt one of them. Many of you have commented on how you like the detail and the materials I use. If you could therefore send me a few words that you don't mind me sharing via my site, that would be hugely appreciated!

I'm planning to move on to Deeproot next, so keep an eye out for news of him soon.

Cheers!

Quercus Strangleroot & Star Player bundle
11 months ago – Tue, Apr 15, 2025 at 01:04:05 AM

Hi Everyone!

For those of you who don't follow my Facebook Page (where have you been?! :-)) I wanted to share our latest Star Player sculpt with you all - Quercus Strangleroot! This is our representation of the no negatrait treeman Maple Highgrove, with his whiplike vines and 'youthful' energy. At 60mm tall, he provides a suitable size upgrade on our regular team Treemen, allowing him to reach over most players to throw that 2 square away block when you need it.

I and the team here are also working to complete a number of sculpts in the coming weeks, namely the Halfling Hotpot launcher that we were unable to unlock during the original KS Campaign, Glimmershard the evil fairy, Deeproot and Rowenna, all suitably sprinkled with a little Leprechaun magic. I think we will then pretty much have the Star Player roster for Halflings completely covered.

Once all of these guys are complete, I'll make them available to you all ahead of a general release as a Star Player bundle, firstly as a thank you to you all and secondly to make postage more economic and hopefully avoid or offset any tariffs, if they re-appear!

The Star Player bundle would therefore be: Podraig Pikebait; Rowenna (haven't thought of a name fore her yet!); Tottenkopf Karli; Quercus Strangleroot; Deeproot; Glimmershard and the Hot Pot Launcher. If you would like me to consider others or if I have missed anyone, please let me know!

As always I hope you like the new mini, and I will keep you all posted on progress with the others. As a favour, if you could sign up to my Newsletter via the Agema Minis website, and follow me on Facebook if you don't already, that would be very much appreciated.

Until next time!

Cheers

Grak and Crumbleberry
about 1 year ago – Fri, Jan 24, 2025 at 01:58:02 AM

Hi Everyone,

You know, I should really concentrate more! A message from Johnny, a backer in Canada, about whether we could create a Grak & Crumbleberry model reminded me that we've already done one! How I forgot about these guys is a mystery - symptomatic of having too many plates spinning and forgetting what's directly at hand.

Whatever the reason, we do have the aforementioned Ogre and hapless Halfling duo (picture below). I haven't created renders for these as yet (probably why I forgot about them) and so only a couple of poor photos I'm afraid...but hopefully it gives you enough to go on.

Given the background fluff on these guys (Circus performers, Halfling Cannon-Ball etc.) I decided to try and give them that sort of Circus feel by following a Mexican Wrestler vibe - Grak is very much in the Nacho Libre style with the hapless 'Crumbleberry' wearing a mask to cover his identity (he almost always dies and so is regularly replaced) and holding a cushion to his butt to minimise the impact of Grak's mighty cannon-boot! 'Berry is also missing a few teeth under his face mask :-)

Here's another view of the caped cannon-ball

So, we have in the pipeline / ready to release Rodney (Pod), Karla (Kali) and Grak & Cumbleberry (Craic and .....what? I had Dingleberry in mind but that may not be appropriate!! I'm vaguely aware it might be rude in North America?) Suggestions on possibly more appropriate names welcome!

I could bundle these guys up in to a Star Player bundle and release as a set if you guys would be keen? As always, let me know!

Cheers

Greg
