2nd Stretch Goal Unlocked!
7 months ago – Mon, Apr 15, 2024 at 02:58:33 AM

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to our new backers who joined over the weekend (thank you!) - you helped us reach our 2nd stretch goal! The Leprechaun in a tree-branch, waiting to be hurled towards the opposition's TD line. I use this guy in my own Leprechaun (Halfling) team, and he's done sterling work to date. I usually score 1 TD from a Throw Team Mate action per game - just a shame it's only 1! I'm still waiting to score 2 in the same game - one day :-)

The Gnome team variant seems to have been well received, and I hope with my wee fellas now covering most Stunty teams, we can push on and unlock a few more stretch goals. The Coach is only a few pounds away! (see him here, in the 'flesh'). Sculpted by Blood Bowl legend Gary Morley, Rowdy Pieface will whip your Stunties into shape with a hairdryer yell and a well aimed crusty pie :-)

He's also a stickler, with his rule book on hand (hip?) and money for the occasional bribe in his purse. Let's hope we can release him soon :-)

Cheers

Gnomes are a Go!
7 months ago – Fri, Apr 12, 2024 at 10:22:41 AM

Hi Everyone,

We have decided to add a Gnome team variant into the Campaign. Steve Beckett has been beavering away creating the concept art for Leprechaun themed Gnomes, and Bob has begun sculpting the minis!

We have added these guys in as a separate team pledge, as the minis will differ from our regular Leprechauns quite a bit. If you have pledged 'All-In' already, then there's a specially discounted Add-On that you can select if you want to add the specific Gnome character / positional minis into your pledge.

I'll be previewing the sculpts here as Bob completes them! Here's how the team pledge looks. Note there will be 2 different Wolf Hound poses (one with a ball is being worked on) and 2 different Illusionist poses too:

We hope you like them!

Cheers

A bit of paint, and progress on Dice & Gnomes
8 months ago – Tue, Apr 09, 2024 at 09:34:52 AM

Evening all,

As I managed to finish this guy recently, I thought you might like to see one of our minis 'in the flesh' so to speak, with a lick of paint applied. This one is Rum-Blow, and I'm working on one of our Trolls too (just trying to find the time...)

The Block Dice are being worked on now and I'm hoping to have them up on the campaign within a couple of days; as far as the Gnomes are concerned, I'm still working on images to show what would be included, and again, hope to have them up and added to the campaign within the week.

We have levelled out on funding over the last few days, and it would be great to unlock some more stretch goals, so if you know anyone that you think would like to back the campaign and you haven't already, please do get them to check us out!

Thanks to you all so far - your support is very much appreciated!

Cheers

Thoughts on Gnomes
8 months ago – Sun, Apr 07, 2024 at 01:13:33 AM

Hi Everyone,

I've had quite a few requests relating to offering a Gnome version of the Leprechauns. We do have concept artwork for 'Lepregnomes' complete, but the figures (unlike the Leprechauns in general) haven't been sculpted as yet.

If we were to add a Gnome variant to the Campaign, how would you all feel about that? The simplest way as far as the current Campaign is concerned would be to offer a Gnome 'Add-On' pack to include the Beatmaster Models (with Beats) and the Illusionists, so an Add-On pack of 8 models (2 x Beastmasters; 2 x Illusionists; 2 x Foxes, 1 x Badger and 1 x Goose). Would something like that be attractive? With the Gnomes being offered as an Add-On, those that want them can add easily enough; those that want to stick with Flings or Gobbos have the choice.

Gnomes seem to be the 'hot-ticket' right now and we could jump on that wave, but I'd appreciate feedback first!

Cheers
